Bought used Z650 already restricted?

I just got a used Z650 that's meant to be A2 compliant, but I'm not completely sure if it's really restricted. Is there a way to find out if the throttle or ECU has been limited? Since this is my first time handling something like this, I'd really appreciate any advice

Not sure what A2 compliant is, but if it's some king of restriction you're looking for, there could either be a mechanical restrictor on the throttle body to limit the amount of airflow. The second option is to either go to a dyno or plug it into a good scanner tool, not those cheap ones you get from Aliexpress and see if it's restricted at the ECU.

Congrats on the Z650! Used or not, I just know it's perfect. About your issue, the easiest check is to look for a throttle stop on the throttle bodies since that’s common on A2 bikes. You can also get your dealer to confirm by VIN or ECU flash status pretty quickly if you want to be 100 percent sure.
