Got a seat for a ‘17?

Running a '17 Z650 and thinking about switching back to the stock seat from the solo cowl I've got on there now. Let me know if anyone in the Midwest got one collecting dust or knows where to pick one up cheap. And forgive the new guy question but is this the best place to ask?

@XavierCompleX hey there. try to check eBay and filter by location, sometimes you get lucky. Also, Z650 owner groups on Facebook are often great for used parts swaps

I switched back to stock seat on my Z650 last year, it was way more comfortable for longer rides, I found mine on CycleTrader, sometimes Craigslist has them cheap and this forum should be good for stuff like that, lots of people ready to help.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll start checking eBay with location filters and keep an eye on Facebook groups (never thought about those for parts swapping). CycleTrader and Craigslist make sense too, especially for local finds.

Good to hear the stock seat helped with longer rides. Was there a noticeable difference in comfort, or was it mostly about getting more support?

On the seat, most people notice the stock one feels a bit firmer but more supportive over longer rides compared to aftermarket comfort seats that can get too soft and fatigue you faster.
